To find the Top 10 beauty blogs, we used Alexa to identify which blogs received a large amount of links. An increase in links shows how many people “vote” for the beauty blog as a useful resource. Both Twitter and Instagram influencers were chosen based on the number of followers, showing the amount of people that follow their advice.

There are many different blogs that cover the topics of beauty, fashion, makeup, hairstyles, perfume and other beauty topics. Here are a few that we found people are interested in and get a large amount of links from other websites, based on data from Alexa’s beauty subcategory.

TotalBeauty.com (4,236 Links) – Blog that offers beauty tips and unbiased reviews. Get tips on hairstyles, skin care, body, nails, hair care, makeup, and perfume.

BecomeGorgeous.com (2,249 Links) – Blog that covers beauty, fashion, lifestyle, hairstyles, nails and makeup. Includes some celebrity fashion and make up tips for the fashionista.

MakeupAlley.com (2,076 Links) – Social network that focuses on product reviews, trending posts, popular brands, and the best of the best in beauty.

NaturallyCurly.com (1,621 Links) – Two women, Michelle Breyer and Gretchen Heber, were frustrated by the lack of attention, products and services for curly, textured hair consumers. This blog talks about styles, products, lifestyle and salons dedicated to people with naturally curly hair.

Basenotes.net (1,126 Links) – A website devoted to perfume including a perfume directory, news in the industry, reviews, a forum and blogs dedicated to beauty.
